Anyone done this? Recently? On line searches seem sketchy? Grateful for any one who used this with a bicycle? Thanks.

Re: Santander to Portsmouth Ferry Tips

Currently on the santona. 1st UK to Spain crossing. I,ve done in excess of 30 crossings, UK to EU, annually since 1987. (Working, i might add) I can confirm the pont aven is the rolls Royce of western channel ferries.
End.

Re: JOG to Inverness

On my ride round the coast of UK , once I reached wick i,d had enough of the traffic. So pitched up just south of there and set off at about 0330hr the following day, just a short while in darkness, before empty roads for a good while.

Re: Europe 2022

I,ve entered Schengen area both as a tourist and working (numerous entries)

Both times very different.

As a tourist the passport got stamped on entry and exit.

As a worker (driving) often asked where am i going in Schengen area? Also often the passport is not stamped. Both in and out.

My guess it will be different come November 2023.

Re: Pont de Normandie experience

For your information. The point de Normandie currently has the inside lane coned off for works, tho I never saw anyone working! North and South bound.

Makes the experience far more enjoyable.
