£12.99. I'd like to hear of anyone has tried them in testing conditions.

Don't bother in my experience every time I have worn seal skins in heavier rain they have been worse than normal socks they fill up with water and it's like haveing two sloshing hot water bottles on your feet

Re: South Downs Way on a touring bike ??

I did it a few weeks ago on a fully ridged Steel mtb , with 2.5 inch tyres...it was fun but some of the rocky downhills left me with blurry vision, I wouldn't do it on a tourer if you paid me

Seat post woes

Ok... so I have a folding bike for my part train part bike commute. It is a Tern P24h and I'm mostly happy with it.The only problem is the seat post is about 3cm too short for my gangly frame. I don't want to ride around with it over extended and the nagging voice in the back of my head won't let me, and I don't think I can get a longer seat post as it has a built in pump inside, which is handy. My question is does anyone know of a device that will sit between the post and the saddle to raise the hight, or indeed a model of saddle that is deep between the seat and the rails to give me and extra few cms?

Cheers
