Re: Which App

That is some memory or am I missing something, that has long gone, was knocked off by hit and run driver and out for a long time. Sold everything off and only just recently bought Bromptons for me and the mrs and thoroughly enjoying them, so much so we would like to do a mini tour in southern Spain, next year hopefully.

Cheers.

Re: Which App

Hello,
I don’t know how you know that I have a Garmin 800 but I don’t anymore and has been a longtime since I had one. Regarding the Garmin that was going to be another post on which one to get as I don’t need any of the training aids within in them now.

Cheers.

Which App

Hello,
Is there an “App” that will help me plan our first mini tour, what I am after is a map of an area where I can choose a start point then map a route and find BB’s or hotels on the way and possibly give me an indication of the terrain (whether the route involves climbing).

Thanks in advance.

Re: Nano Bromptons

Regarding battery time, this is something I will have to look into because at present we are up to 30 miles daily and hoping to get it up to 50 miles at least once a week, but I want to make it clear she doesn’t want assistance for the whole ride but more like assistance on parts of it.

Cheers.

Nano Bromptons

Hello,
Are there any Nano electric users on here, if so what are your thoughts, any long term reviews.
Please, any info as I am thinking of converting my wife’s bike rather than spending 3k and loose Monet on her present Brompton.

Cheers.

Bike choices

Hello,
I have been riding a Spesh hard tail and really enjoying it but i have found out through trial, error and mistakes that i may need full suspension.Changing from road bikes to the MTB has eased my chronic back ache due to position and plushness (from the 29" tyres). Also changing tyres to some fast road slicks showed up the plushness effect.Anyway being only 5"5" i need a really small frame and a bike that will be mainly used for road and hard tracks, budget around 2.5k.Up to now i have only been looking at the Scott Spark.
Your opinions please.

Thankyou for looking.

Advice and help with tyre choice

Hello,
I have suffered with back ache for a long time (years),before giving up totally i tried a 29" hardtail with knobbly tyres and the back ache diminished, but then i found the rolling resistance and noise from the tyres quite harsh,so i opted for a fast road tyre firstly to get more speed and secondly for the road noise. The tyres are the spesh Fatboy's pumped up to maximum (70psi) but annoyingly my back ache has come back.
So are there any fast road tyres out there what i can use and retain the plushness on the rear end as im sure its this single factor that as relieved it.
Your thoughts and experiences please.

Thankyou.

Go Pro Camera

Hello,
Has anybody managed to mount their camera under the bars as opposed to mounting on top so it's not as obvious to other road users ,and if so which mount did you buy.

Folding Bikes

Are there any specific forums for these bikes ,as i am thinking of getting a Airnimal Chameleon and was wondering how you go trying to get the same feel for speed as they only have 24" wheels. Do you just put larger chainrings on or is it that you cant replicate the 700c wheel speed.

Cheers
