Nope, sorry, going to have to disallow this one from the beautiful bikes compo - valve caps don't match.

My valve caps match (4 o'clock front and 5 o'clock rear)! How nerdy can you get? .....and how do you get such a large picture inside the 254kb limit?

... I'd have to say that for me the most beautiful bike is an F frame Moulton

Just in case anyone is not familiar with the fabulous 'F-Frame' Moulton.....

That chrome Moulton S Safari is the epitome of gorgeousness 8)

I only really discovered F frames about a year ago (from the togglechaintour thread on this very forum, no less). What makes them beautiful for me is not just the appearance (I think it looks like an arrow being fired from a bow). It's also a lovely ride - really refined and comfortable. And knowing that it's a design classic is an added bonus. We're all used to seeing small wheel bikes now, but I can only imagine what a stir the Moulton must have caused when it was launched in the early '60s.

I know that the Moulton designs were revolutionary, but I had not realised that Che Guevara rode one!

Anything Holdsworth, as an old school cyclist I have always thought these to be the best of British. Although mine is not 'top of the range' I would rather loose my car
than give up my beautiful old Holdsworth.

My list would be topped by the Paul Smith Mercian -Tour version in the contrasting green paint work or one of those fabulous Audax bikes bikes fron Villers Velo with the curly Hetchinsesque stays.
When I was a teenager it would have to have been a Sun Mass Start Professional or a Carlton Team Professional with those blingy chromed fork ends and all that campag gear.( Yes I am fifty something!!!!!) Anybody got one of these they dont want?
