On Friday I'll be solo cycling around the TT course on the Isle of Man. Booked a hired road bike from Erin Bike Hut.

I did it just two years ago on a Brompton ( a pain to ride but brilliant on trains etc )
Really really keep your eye on the weather forecast. The weather on 'The Mountain' changes SO quickly. I foolishly assumed that the TT course roads would be like the Silverstone GP track.....WRONG !!!! My old BMW R1200GS soaked the bumps up, the Brompton less so..
Take your time with the climb out of Ramsey.....THEN catch the stunning views from 'The Gooseneck'...
Have a pint for me at the Creg-Ny-Baa. I watched the Senior TT from there just five weeks ago...
