Is it me or are some pro bike riders incapable of handling a bike in the wet. The amount of crashes is unreal. Nibali didn't seem to have a problem because he has good bike handling skills, perhaps some of these riders need to get out in difficult conditions or do a bit of mountain biking to improve their bike handling.

At least one team does send their riders doing cyclocross over the winter...
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
