Bonnet surfing

Post by [XAP]Bob »

Not recommended.

Moron* in a porsche thought that having me bonnet surf for 25-30 yards was preferable to exchanging insurance details after rear ending me...

Police have spoken to three independent witnesses, who somewhat disagree with the motorists description of events.

* Moron was the word used by one of the witnesses...

A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.

Cut on my finger, otherwise OK, just a little shaken.

Silly sharp windscreen wipers.

Which was what? "He looked tired so I thought I'd give him a lift..."

Glad you're ok.

Glad you're OK.

What in the name of Puff's Holy Garters is anyone doing driving a Porsche in a country with a 70 mph blanket speed limit?

I reversed into him and jumped onto his bonnet as he drove off...

Glad you're OK. Almost as good an excuse as the "he jumped off his bike and threw himself into the hedge" claim by the motorist that knocked me off. And the worst part is I think they actually believe it!

Indeed I also hope you are OK and recovered from the scare. I will assume you weren't towing the child trailer you've referred to in another post; I really hope not.

You don't say whether he was caught, or stopped in the end. Was he questioned?

Unfortunately, I am not so sure about this- he'd perhaps just use being unable to clean his screen as an excuse to hit another cyclist, and likely get away with it.
