if there is no vent, whenever the atmospheric pressure increases or the BB cools down wrt everything else, Boyle's law will ensure that air (or water) is drawn through the 'seals', with predictable consequences. I think you need to drill a tiny vent hole in the Al sleeve.

Without removing / replacing the Hambini BB (it went into the freezer before installing originally), the only way to drill a vent hole into it would be through the cable guide screw hole - at the bottom of the frame's bb shell. That doesn't sound ideal, as any SFG in the 'reservoir' would drain out of the vent. With the internal bearing seals removed, I can visualise the SFG leaking out of the bearings - into the Hambini BB, but not finding its way back into the bearings!

I would suggest that you look into the possibility of drilling such a hole in situ, eg.via the seat tube, using a very long drill bit or an extension of some kind.
