Meks All

Any experience here of having stripped these forks?
The likes of which are on a Streetmachine.
Removing the bottom bolts securing the spring arrangement to the lower legs appears to be a bit of a knack.

Hi
do you have a manual for the bike? You can access a free one if you go to the website for Bicycleman Recumbents and click on HP Velotechnik, then follow links for individual model. I got the relevant info for my Spirit from there. Perhaps you have a printed one already, and are in the process of dismantling. I don't have a Streetmachine, so someone who has will probably be along shortly.

As a last resort on my Speedmachine front fork repair I emailed HPVelotechnik for advice and they sent about 20 photos showing each stage of disassembly and rebuild :D

Did you get the bottom and top legs split?
How did you remove the bolts at the bottom of the forks?
Turning the bottom bolts only turns the whole internal arrangement with me.

If you still have the photos, then posting them on here might be most useful.
