What is also interesting to note is how much further back the seating area is on the Nymber.

Please also note that the Nymber is a very expensive saddle.

I recently tried a synthetic saddle and discovered that the rails are set much further forwards than on the leather saddle I had been using. I needed to change the seatpost from one with >20mm set-back to an in-line post in order to get the different saddle in the same place.

So, as the bike manufacturers make the seat tube angle ever steeper, the saddle manufacturers make the saddle fit ever further back on the seatpost to compensate.
