Rim Tapes

I Need new rim tapes and the ones that I had were 700 x 16 mm wide, the only ones that i can find are 700 x 18mm wide, my rim has a internal width of 20mm, would the rim tapes of 18 mm be too wide cheers.

what tyres do you have? Are they very tight on the rims?

Continental Contact 700 x 37 mm they are ok to fit.

if the tyres are i any way tight, a narrow 16mm rim tape might be best, however,if the tyres are an easy fit then a wider tape will work OK.

Managed to get some 16 mm wide ones thank you for all your replies.
