Re: What shorts?

I use the current Endura singletrack shorts with the clickfast liner and I am really pleased with them regarding comfort, length, pockets and leg ventilation, but I think the clue to the material thickness and endurance is in what they are called,"Singletrack " used for that type of riding...

Re: Hip replacement and cycling

Re: Rash

Re: Where are all the mountain bikers?

Living near Cannock Forest I had forgotten the freedom that mountain biking gives, by being able to go on any surface and in any direction during a ride, rather than having to stick to roads. Up to a point, Lord Copper. I take it you haven't tried riding uphill directly across a heather-covered moo...

Hi Rachel, Sorry to hear of your problem, it happened to me about 5 years ago so I hope I can give you a positive look to your hip pain. Re: Deep Breathing and Blood pressure

The reason, I have been told to take an average of three readings is, as you have said what reading normally do you accept the first one or anyone that you take ?.It seems that blood pressure can fluctuate every 3 minutes so if I took three readings and they are becoming lower each one, as you said ...

Re: Deep Breathing and Blood pressure

I take my blood pressure at home as I have a white coat problem when taken at doctors or hospital, and I find the first reading is always higher but after 3 or 4 minutes when taken again after relaxing and deep breathing it is nearly always lower. I take 3 readings over a 12 minute period and averag...

I am glad everything is going okay for you and it sounds like you are becoming more mobile, take care though, my surgeon says it is best to not push recovery as it can cause probl...

Pleased that everything went well for you and good luck with your recovery. I am waiting at the moment to hear when my THR will be, just wondering which op did you have, the traditional one from the side or the new one from the front of the leg while you are on your back. I am looking forward to my ...

Re: It's a dogs life....

Hi Neil, Great pics looks like he has had a great life with you, its sad when dogs get old and health problems start to overcome them but you will have your memories of a good dog and the times spent together, be strong, you will know when the time comes to make a decision.
