Without doubt but there's none to blind as those who don't want to see you.

Re: Paddington to Kings Cross
This more or less, cycle as you like, they do not like cycling it seems but are happy to have the parks turned into rat run festivals every day. Not quite true and they have opened up the Broadwalk in Regent's Park to cyclists - http://www.royalparks.org.uk/about-us/cycling-in-the-royal-parks/regen...

Re: Paddington to Kings Cross
We were riding slowly through Regents Park and got told not to by the Police, I did the gallant Englishman thing and sent my female NZ companion over to speak with them which resulted in words only. A quick look round the Outer Circle in Google Streetview shows "no cycling no skating" pai...

Re: Collision at Dunton Green, Sevenoaks
On the met roadsafe form, they seem happy to recieve only part of a registration, perhaps they might be able to assist kent/sevenoaks police in finding the vehicle?

You know when something has become too popular, they pull this stunt, let's hope it is stopped in it's tracks.

Re: Riding Two Abreast.
I rode alongside a police officer on a bike yesterday in richmond park, talking to him and a black cab driver still tried to intimidate us by driving at us - policeman said nothing.
Just about sums it up.

Re: Road incident
I can imagine the sight of a tall man in lycra having his bike pulled from underneath him by a smaller man dresses in smart work attire would seem rather strange. She suggested I seek legal advice if he contacts with a hefty bill but that if it is say £50 or so, I pay it or face it going through a ...

Re: Road incident
Sounds like poor observation on his part - appears not to have looked in his mirrors? Did you tell the police he tried to pull you off your bike?, as technically that is a form of assault, though very hard to prove without witnesses. It will just end up being a case of his word against yours, though...

Looking at the junction I can see why he did, doesn't exactly look cycle friendly, I hope your companion says the same to every driver they see do the same....

Re: "Breaking" news.
Looking at the CCTV of the roundabout, the cyclist could have just let the bus driver in - it wouldn't have cost him much in time, if anything, as much as the bus driver was pushing in.
Still, no excuse for the actions outside the court, should have got longer.

Re: Database of bad drivers?
Sounds like a good idea in theory but hard to prove.
If I feel someone has gone out their way to be a buttock or idiot I just report them to met roadsafe or surrey police, sadly not all forces have such schemes but should do.

Re: Calling London Cyclists - ROYAL PARKS AT NIGHT/WHEN CLOS
Maybe if they had more of a presence at night (talking about richmond and bushy since I believe they are the only two which don't close, there wouldn't any robberies.
I've only once seen a police vehicle in richmond park at night and they were more interested than deer than anything.

I'd probably say there are national guidelines, like tfl's "smoothing the traffic" flow policy. Though if you press the button for horse riders here: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=robin+hood+gate&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&a...

Re: Very unpleasant incident
Report it without doubt, he deliberately close passed you, then got aggressive because you dared to call him out on you, then assaulted you and threatened to run you down because he was stupid enough to brake his hand. I would have called the police there and then, this behaviour can't be tolerated....
