Re: Pedestrian pushes cyclist off bike and into traffic

When in court it will be a jury that almost all will probably drive, the police that will almost all drive, the judge that will probably drive and the lawyers that will also probably drive. It's a culture in this country to dislike cyclists and motoring offences and offences against cyclists are not...

Re: Pedestrian pushes cyclist off bike and into traffic

Because a cyclist was assaulted nothing will be done.

If a person is assaulted whilst not having a bike on their person then a different story.

Re: camping pet hates

When you book not told of any issues for the weekend. Get there and see signs that noise will not be tolerated after 10.00. Then a wedding party starts, two big white marquees. All permitted by campsite owners. The 80s disco music only stopped at 10.30pm. So owners to obey their own rules and should...

How to make a cyclist sandwich - video content -

First get a cyclist, then a nice healthy green bush. Then get a blue van. You then need to add a little terror to the cyclist and followed by a bit of I would like to live till tomorrow. Once you mix all of that, you then make the sandwich by squeezing the cyclist into a space that is almost physica...

Re: Is it a, see how close we can get the HGV to the cyclist

The company have not made contact with me at all. Obviously safety of the general public is of upmost importance. I really do hope it was not A Hingley Transport company that told me to "No.. F*** off and get a life" You can see the comment to my video here http://youtu.be/kTkWPxxW28Q A re...

Is it a, see how close we can get the HGV to the cyclist ?

I've decided to contact the company again and withdraw my complaint. As I now understand that the close pass was completely my fault and the driver was justified in his actions due to the fact that my road positioning was slightly out. I've also contacted my local MP, county council and highway agen...

Re: Is it a, see how close we can get the HGV to the cyclist

It's funny isn't it that it's a reflection of society that the first thing we do is criticise the victim because of a few inches.

Shows what a vehicle society we are and its influence it has on us even as cyclists.

Re: New alpkit sleeping bags and mats

I would be looking for a 400 or 600 pipe dream if they do them again.

But that sort of price puts me off a little. A little more expensive than I was expecting from alpkit.

We will see if they do further bags, and prices.

Tapatalk requests tiresome

As you might know tapatalk have made some new updates that have made the app so awful that has made is unusable. So first I would ask if CTC can remove themselves from tapatalk. Why you ask? Well because I am trying to access the CTC forum directly via the Safari browser on my iPad and iPhone. Each ...
