Re: Worst job for the police - > motivation for enforcement?

Some strange concepts here, a driver stopped with the engine running hand brake on is committing a crime. A driver with no seat belt on is committing a crime. It seems implied to me that both of the above should be given the same priority and resources as I was, when I was left unconscious in the ro...

Re: First car in Space

My feeling of this type of stunt is that is no different to throwing a plastic bottle in the sea for advertising.
It is just something that was never supposed to be there and should have been recycled.

Re: The day began like any other.....

In Ikea if you go to the MFI type collection bit and walk around the show part starting at its exit. You get to see all the shortcuts. In supermarkets walk straight to the far corner, do not touch or look at any thing. Then only make on trip down each isle you will be out sooner and save a fortune. ...

Re: Should the British bill the EU for saving it in WW2?

Britian declared war then fought that war in other countries. So should Britian pay for the damage they caused?

Re: Balls

Considering all brown signs are paid for by the visitor attraction they are advertising. Then this ia being directed at the wrong lot, it should be the FA. Considering what they do for the people who pay to be entertained and care about them. I do not that that they would do football association abo...

Re: Burscough Girl in The Gambia

I hope she really enjoys her trip.
I went to Banjul in the late 70s I did not get to see much as it was a one night stopover but it looked a lovely place.

Mick how will you get on for 2 weeks with no supervision. :D

Re: Result!

When we bought our house we were told we had to have ppi if we wanted the mortgage, non ppi no mortgage.
As the sole income was a teachers salary it was of no use due to the small print that we did not get to see until after we had signed.
So yes it was claimed back.

Re: Wanted. Small car.

If you still intend to tow you need to check that the make and model can have a towing bracket fitted.

I would take your Mercian and check you can get it in the car.

I would look to get a car that has a local main dealer if I was purchasing new.

I like the look of the Ford Focus.

Re: Appointments

Thanks for the kind wishes, I am not worried about the condition I have been told I should not snuff it because of it. It is that all the tests need to be done before a decision is made about the proper treatment and this is decided. This leaves me unable to do stuff and in quite a lot of pain. Ther...

Re: Appointments

I have to have a MRI heart rate stress test but have to wait for an appointment (some days it misses one in three beats) but am having to wait until God only knows when partly because of people not turning up for their appointments. Some days the pain is such that I would go up their and sit there a...

Re: Girl gets bike back.

Many years ago I supplied a ladies bike to nice lady who collected our son from junior school while I was at work. One evening I got a phone call to say the bike had been stolen and while she was at the local shops she had seen a group of teenagers with the bike. I got in the car and drove around th...

I like the irony that the government is being propped up by what was the political wing of a terrorist organisation.

So the tories are now the coalition of chaos.

The gamble failed and Mrs May has made a mess of things.
