I did e2e in 9 days a couple of years ago and have the same hope of doing France E2E.
Do you have a working link to your route please?
Can anyone advise how easy it is to navigate France by bike solo?

I'd say after riding Devon & Cornwall for two days, by the time you reach the Severn Bridge it starts to feel real. You're getting into the rythmn of the daily routine.
By the time you reach the Scottish border you just know you'll do it.... but keep telling yourself that as you ride through Helmsdale and Berriedale!
If you've spent time training and planning for yourself there's no way you'll give up. Part of that "will I wont I" is what makes you a stronger person after completing it. It's what makes it look good on your CV. Anyone can doubt themselves, its those that complete it that are the achievers.
Pain is weakness leaving the body.
