Hi all,
I hope you're well.
I've just added an advert for my Schlitter Encore carbon recumbent in the "For Sale - whole bike" section of this forum...

Thanks,
Guy

Re: Anyone selling a 2-wheel recumbent?
I did have my carbon Schlitter (about £1500ish) on the whole bikes for sale but the advert vanished recently after I reduced the price.

Re: How did you break into recumbents?
Back in the late '90s I tried a load at London Recumbents in Dulwich Park. Bought one from the States and just tried it little and often. Fell over a few times when starting off until I sorted the initial peddle position.... Just back from vertical. They're good fun and cut through a head wind like a dream.

Re: Haluzak Horizon missing. Seen it?
It was datatagged when I first had it back in 1999 so I'm not sure about the status of the tag. Certainly the Police have the details plus frame number etc. I've even got the original credit card invoices I used to buy it...a touch wierd perhaps but in terms of proof for recovery...golddust [well maybe !?]! Unfortunately it stopped being made late 2006/early 2007 but you can still find photo's of it around the net....unusual name helps it's google ranking. I'll check out the two links you supplied as I now have a Seiran 24 (got it last Friday) and may want to put a GPS device on it. I put some Shimano M324 single sided spd's on it at lunchtime which makes cycling soooo much easier...no continous pressing of the pedals to keep my feet on them...lovely !

Haluzak Horizon missing. Seen it?
Hope this is ok to post here. Saw the messages about the Sieran's on ebay and how BHPV keep an eye out for "hot" bikes and thought I'd post the following here. I've also added this info to CycleChat forum back in December + emailed local CTC groups, so apologies if this is a second time reading.
Had my Haluzak Horizon stolen before Christmas from work (Wallingford, South Oxfordshire). Dark blue 559/406 wheels, Shimano 105 gearset (triple chain rings), black webbing seat, pannier rack on the back, "data tagged", Shimano m324 pedals (new), new 42 ring on the front. Lumicycle lights......oh yes, plus one particularly 'disgruntled' recumbent rider !
Any lookouts gratefuly recieved. Anywhere else I could post this info ?
