you could always travel to 1 site setup for 5 days and do day rides in all directions saves packing and unpacking kit each day

Re: Cotswold Outing on a Trike?
Thanks for that Bob
I still need to finish that audax if you are up for it also is there any audaxs or long rides near you I am sure i could get over to your neck of the woods and you could show me around.

Re: Cotswold Outing on a Trike?
i did about a tenth of an audax on a trike last year before frame failure but the small distance i did i enjoyed. The slower riders XAPBob refers to is me i am a lot slower on my trike than my bike but i would always choose trike over bike on a long distance.
i believe with audax the major thing is average speed and as llong as you can pick up extra average on the downhills then that can help on the slower sections

Re: ICE Trice Q _QNT owners
this question might be better on the recumbent forum though i will throw my 2pence worth in i have had a non suspended trice explorer and i now have a non suspended trice adventurer/explorer/trice T mongrel .I dont use my trike on gravel tracks and rarely lose traction on hills i have found that using panniers on a rack does help
whatever trike you do get i am sure that no injuries will be aggravated as long as you gently get used to peadalling in the laidback position
