sad guy who recently had his 19 year old 57cm Randonneur stolen (Frame No. B16224). it was bought in May 1991. to confirm the colour is actually Gun Metal Grey with White head tube, gold paint lining on the lugs and and Raleigh head badge, and of course 531ST (Super Tourist) tube set. The best ever bicycle I owned. I'd like another one day, the sooner the better. I also have the 1 page flyer Product Information sheet on the Rando, so can quote the spec. The seat supplied was a Pre-softened Brooks Team Pro Copper and not the B17. It intrigues me as I have never used a B17 and would be interested in what the difference is in comparision. Back to the brake cable holder, I had to fix a similar problem on a Raleigh Royal it to has a V shaped clamp to fit with the chrome Raleigh Red Seat Pin. The randonneur having a much smaller one as described in the earlier post. I remember when I bought the Randonneur I had a hard time choosing between the Dawes Galaxy and the Randonneur, I just liked the style of the Randonneur.A rando hunting I shall go.
