Cycling tops/jerseys for those of us a little mature

Hi want to get some cycling tops (do a lot of touring) but the days of tight fitting race style are long gone. Plus who wants to see a super annuated bloke whose chest has slipped down a bit to the middle.

Any recommendations and if so who stocks this style.

Thanks in advance

Re: Costa Blanca and good cycling

Thanks guys plan to check some of those areas out in April. I like the hills and mountains but if I want my wife to ride with me 'fraid it needs to be flat.

Hi looking to move part time to the Costa Blanca can you recommend good safe cycling area to start looking. Needs to be on the coast and not hilly, mostly if possible have traffic free trails.
Thanks

Re: ...Is cycling in the US this bad?

With a trip to (roughly) the area mentioned lined up, this discussion is rather disconcerting! I have cycled 1000's miles in USA and now have a holiday home in Florida, never any real problems and absolutely love it. Mrjemm check out the trails in Florida - some wonderful riding try "rails to ...

Re: Money and long-distance touring

I use a mixture of debit, credit, cash loaded Caxton and a $100 note rolled up in poly and inserted in the waist band of whatever I'm wearing. Had it for years now and touch wood never got into a situation of having lost everything and having to use it. Be wary of ATM machines and if unsure go in th...

In a taxi you simply count out the fare, then subtract 3 pounds for each violation.[/quote]

Do cyclists have special needs?

Just read a post about meeting the county crime Commissioner and wondered if cycling should be treated the same way as people with special needs. That is legislation which makes it compulsory to take into account the needs of cyclists whenever a planning application for new roads or alterations are ...

Well done and it would be a very positive step forward if a "cycle" friendly police officer had regular input to all future road traffic planning.

Re: Things you've never done

I've never told my wife how much my bikes cost. (she doesn't tell me about her shoes) I've never spent more than I can afford. Unlike my wife on shoes I've never really counted how many bikes I've got. Might find out I haven't enough :D Ditto my wife I've never bought a tie I've never been fishing o...
