When I ran the XD cranks with 10 speed, the chain would occasionally get stuck. Usually when dropping to the small ring from middle, at the base of a hill. I suspect the (ergo)shifters, which we’re very slow and clunky, (due to friction in the cable run, which I could have sorted, but never did...) didn’t help matters. I think the cranks would have been ok with deft use of down tube levers...
