Shipping a 'bent

In the current climate, how would one go about shipping a 'bent, like a Streetmachine. Do they fit in a std bike box, is there a 'large bike box' , how does it work?

Alternatively bu a Spa Nidd saddle, (B17) the rails are longer,believe me, I have a 60cm Olive, with a Nitto SP72 jaguar twin bolt seat post, and I have about 15mm plus to go back if I wish.

If its just the stitching thats gone, then a cobbler ( not Timpson's :roll: ) or a leather worker will be able to sew it up. Not without dismantling the saddle and removing the cover, which is probably bonded onto both the foam and the base anyway. Even if someone could do that, the cost would prob...

here's a review I did 7 years ago, saddle still going strong. There are some pictures with a tape measure, you should be able to view them.

just ordered 2 spares,as I bent one a couple of weeks ago, it straightened out ok, but considering this bike should last another 20 years, it'll see me out. Mine was a type K.( or CC 003),

since getting a Gore windstopper (amazing bit of kit) if its 5 deg +, I'll wear a thin s/s cycling top, with a pair of bib tights and the windstpper, and I'm just right, but i carry a gillet, just in case. Often find myself pulling the sleeves up, and this aids cooling massively. If its less than 5 ...
