Re: Bike storage in van without front wheel - QR bracket mounting?

Get yourself a Nissan nv200 combi (or van) and you don't have to take any wheels off at all.

Re: sweating

since getting a Gore windstopper (amazing bit of kit) if its 5 deg +, I'll wear a thin s/s cycling top, with a pair of bib tights and the windstpper, and I'm just right, but i carry a gillet, just in case. Often find myself pulling the sleeves up, and this aids cooling massively. If its less than 5 ...

Re: Quick unclog of mudguards?

After all, the water in the puddles is the same stuff that comes out of the hose pipe. If the puddle water is on a road where the rock-salt gritter has been, then the puddle water will be salt water  '' I'm not talking about getting out the pressure washer or leaving things spotlessly clean -...

I was up on Dartmoor some years ago and Mercian was caked in mud. I found a few puddles on the roads home to ride th...

Re: 700 to 650b conversion

This is the advantage of a disc frame. Thank you for the pictures yostumpy. I'm still indecise if it's wor...

Re: My Touring / Expedition Bike - Video

The conversion to adjustable stem, flat bars and bar ends has created several weak points where before there were none. I would of fitted a suitable length dirt drop stem (Nitto, Kalloy) cut the drops below the brakes, upturned the bars slightly and installed separate brake levers and thumb shifter...
