Also depends on where the op lives, if Norfolk , then elephant bike will be fine, if in welsh mountains then no . What's wrong with getting off a pushing up hill ? It's all exercise, and someone of 170kg is going to really struggle to ride up a significant hill any way. I'd say go elephant bike, til...

I had a Stronglight roller headset fitted to my old MTB years ago, not an A9 tho, but an X12. It was black, and didn't have locking nuts, but a screw down tall top cap, that was pinched up tight with an Allen screw .

mixed bag here, ordered 2 tyres, some brake pads, and a disc caliper on 23 may, order confirmed, then nothing, I e-mail on 7 June, and they say caliper out of stock, so they agree to send part order of tyres, received yesterday, fitted front, took off rear tyre, and ....bugga, they sent me the wrong...

Great, thanks. I have exactly the same frame, but in Orange, which is the colour they sold it in as a frameset. PS, which diameter extender did you buy, by the way? Ooo, the larger one of the two. The only thing you have to think about is getting the star nut out. But I read a tip online somewhere,...
