MIPA Bike
Hallo: Has anyone in this forum ever heard of MIPA Cycles only I have recently bought a nice well equiped model called the
SPACE PROFILE. I think that it was from a European company, possibly Belgian or French but nobody seems to know.
Any information would be helpful.

Re: The Renold Trophy
Hello Speedsixdave
The Renold Trophy was awarded by Renolds chains to the best young CTC member during a week long course of events. My
course was held in the Lake District and there were about 10 or 12 of us from all over the country, our ages ranged from about 14 to 17 or 18
we had a whole week of quite hard rides and as I remember the Roughstuff section was across Sca Fell. The leader was a guy from CTC head
Office at Craven Hill called Ken Popple. This was in the days when young people could do adventurous things without all the namby pamby
controls that stop them from any form of independant action. I also rode with the North London CTC group as a youngster & had a really good
and very interesting early Cycling experience.

The Renold Trophy
Hallo: Does anyone know when The Renold Trophy stopped being awarded by the CTC. I won the trophy in the late 1950's,but would be very
interested to know any further history.
