That's right. That's the older version a long time ago. Mine is the/was the latest version before they stopped manufacturing them and they became like hens teeth. If it's not for you I promise I won't make you buy it.

Hi. Thanks for the link. Yeah that's it, well half of it. They used to sell the fly and nest separately. It was $500 for the complete tent I'm selling.

Golite Shangri-la 3 tent. As new, rare. Ultra-light. Modular. Great in bad weather.

Finally selling my SL3 as it has never been used. Brought from a friend who wisely brought 3 of these while on a trip to America when they were on sale, shortly before Golite seaced trading. I put it up in the garden to thoroughly check it before putting it in my camping storage. Never been slept in...

Re: Looking for easily transported recumbent bike

I used to carry my StreetMachine GT on the back of a standard carrier. It was ten years ago now, not sure I should have maybe. The boom ended up so high it worked well.

A Grasshopper FX would fold to go inside the car. Or is that Grasshoppers full stop?

Please do give a heads up as to when the next event in Kent is. Thoroughly enjoyed the Worlds last year which we would have missed if you hadn't.

Re: Good quailty non reflective 20inch tyres...

Wheel bags? presumably you have other reflectors on the bike as well, so a ripstop bag that just covered the whole bike would be a reasonable solution? I have stripped my trike (or can do) of all other reflective material. Wheel bags could work easily on one side of the wheel and pull around the ot...

Re: Anyone dabbled in Make-Your-Own-Gear ?

What an interesting thread. I had previously been unaware of this sub forum. I have an interest in light weight backpacking. Making your own gear is very popular there as was said before. More equipment than clothes though in my experience. I have made a number of pieces of equipment that have also ...

Buffalo clothing and sleep systems.

Following a real bit of luck in a local charity shop I have become an owner of a Buffalo 3 season sleeping bag outer, which is seemingly the same as the more modern 4 season. Following a Nickwax Tech Wash and spray on reproofing it seems it will live to fight another day. I've read a lot of reviews ...

Re: Good quailty non reflective 20inch tyres...

You already hit the nail on the head. X2 Sadly I'm not a land owner but love to camp. Therfore I'm often on other people's land. Then the tyres (reflective ones) go from being a good help on the road to quite the opposite when wanting to be very discrete. I was even lamped once in the New Forest, fo...

Re: Catastrophic spoke failure. While stored..

Thanks 531colin.

Can understand why they would be dubious. Think it's worth sending it back just because I want to know what happened. Dont really care about the wheel

Re: Catastrophic spoke failure. While stored..

No friend pranking just in house storage. Question is, is it worth postage to and then when they say (presumably) it's nothing to do with them, postage back/repair costs to send it back to Harrogate? I'll not ride 26inch again and still have the original wheel for the Big Dummy for resale purposes. ...
