Re: short-ish women: what frame do you have for audax?

I am 5'4" and I ride a Sabbath Silk road. I found it was all about the shop that was selling, One told me they didn't do a Sabbath small enough for me, Mick Madgett fitted my bike to me and it is like an armchair in comparison to my other bikes. It is on 700cc wheels. It might have been conside...

Re: Setting up a Selle SNP ladies saddle

I'm sat here looking at 3 mounted SMP TRK's and each one is slightly different. Turbo trainer one is level, looking over the front lumps and bum pads. The Sabbath Silk Road is low on the front, by quite a lot and the Time Trial Kona Lisa TR is flat but I have only just finished building her, last ni...

How best to route multiple locations

Hi. As a 50th birthday challenge my brother wants to cycle to every WW airbase in East Anglia. There is a quite a few of them, 150 ish marked on the map thus far. I had anticipated marking locations on Google maps and then breaking up into days of riding of about a 100 miles a day (we have taken the...

Re: IPhone for Navigation and Route Planning

I use my iphone with various apps, Map My Ride, Bike hub and Ride with GPS with differing results. I do trust it as much as I did the Garmin Edge, possibly not quiet as much as TomTom which is also available for the iphone. Power was the trouble but I bought a Powergen Power Pack for about £20 off A...

Re: Garmin Edge 605

Hope you have better luck than I did, same problem with the 605, Garmin changed it and then changed it again, then on their advise I upgraded to a 705. Few weeks and it went the same way, eventually Wiggle gave me my money back. Problem is I can't find anything else to do the job, the iphone runs ou...

Re: Aero Seatpost

Thanks for your reply, the tear drop shape of the tube threw me a bit so I contacted Kona and within 24 hours I had had 3 replies and the means of getting a specific seat post. That's another bit off the list.

Thanks

Di.

Aero Seatpost

Hi. Need some help please. Having been convinced when bike shopping this time last year that one bike could do everything the purchased Sabbath Silk road was joined by a sweet little Felt hard tail when the bad weather struck and now a Kona Lisa TR frame. Intended as my winter project to build up re...

Re: DISASTROUS!!

I'm going to show my husband this as conformation of why I won't shop at Halfords. My 4th brother purchased new wheels, tyres and tubes, 20 yards down the road the spoke went through tube and tyre. Halfords refused to replace them until I had stood outside the store for 2 hours pointing out their ap...

Re: garmin 605 problem

Hi. Not a 605 expert, in fact had to send mine back after 2 weeks as the computer failed to recognise it, 705 now on the way, but could you upload the route to Garmin Connect (or whatever you are using) and then download from there.

Re: Shorts and saddle advice please.

Hi. Not posted before but as a relatively new cyclist (18 months) but putting in the distance, currently 150 miles a week, I think saddle, padding and anti chaff creams are a must. I now sport the Selle SMP TRK saddle on both my race bike and turbo bike, it can be purchased quite cheaply, under £30 ...
