Re: SE Asia routes advice

Great advice to which I am processing. The route I envisaged looks good. Is x2 months enough? The boat ride along the Mekong may help I guess. 3000 km is my rough estimate. You were right Emirates fly to PP and return x58 days later from bkk was quoted £576. My guess is the 30kg allowance is the box...

Re: Air Canada and Canada in general - well the flight was good...

Crossed Canada last year, and as has been said, Ontario was the worst experience, as it took a few weeks to cross it had to be. Some of it was great. tho new Brunswick gives it a a good go too.! Crap drivers mainly. Overall I loved it. As you say different from USA. Not so bike friendly.

Re: Wobbly Cassette

Thanks brucey, going by that it looks like worn internal bearings. I've never removed them before. It looks technical , trying to avoid spending £60 on a replacement freehub on low end wheels.

Re: Wobbly Cassette

Looking at similar problem myself. 'Wobbly cassette'. When fitted 10 speed campagnolo cassette. Fits ok with lock ring tight and all cogs tight, yet the whole cassette has a few mm of play on the freehub. Now the wheel was bought 2nd hand, Khamsin assymetric. Looked like new when I put it on. So thi...
