Re: Dynamo bulbs

The rear light is fine and bright. It might be the polarity connect ors and I could try to reset those?

Re: Dynamo bulbs

Sorry to hijack this thread, couldn't see an answer elsewhere. My SON edelux original needs a new bulb. I run it with an incorporated Racktime Rear Light. What do I need to buy? Can I buy a LED one? Cheers!

Nexus Gripshift with Triple Front Derailleur??

I've got an old MTB with a triple front crank and the left gear shifter is on its way out, anyone used a Nexus 3 speed Gripshift with a triple front? Thanks.

Re: Pashley Sovereign frame help please

I have taken the basket off, the basket bracket has a cable guide, how do I lift the handlebar stem off the frame to I can take the bracket off, I have loosened the stem pin and the bearings nut but the stem won't move up or down. The crank arms have cleaned up well with fine wire wool. Some WD40 on...

Re: Pashley Sovereign frame help please

Thanks for your help Bruce will work on it over the weekend. The basket is coming off. It's a 3 speed SA hub and seems okay. The hubs and wheels need a good clean and service.

I've never seen a frame before that was reliant on a seat post pin for the rear triangle. Interesting design.

Pashley Sovereign frame help please

DSC_0601.JPG Girlfriend bought a Pashley Sovereign off eBay, picked it up on Saturday. Lovely bike but has been improperly maintained. Bent seat pin and other falsehoods, and also looks like it has been left out in the rain as the frame has paint corrosion around the BB hinge. Few things for advice...

Re: Second hand bicycle I bought from Ebay has anti theft nuts..

It is a T700 with a schmidt dynamo front hub, shimano alfine gearing. Nothing to suggest it is stolen, the owner no longer lives in the UK and his father sold it to me. His father was also selling a women's version of the bike at the same time, set up in exactly the same manner. Luckily the pitlocks...

Re: Second hand bicycle I bought from Ebay has anti theft nuts..

Thanks for the tip. I'll try this weekend. Good idea to have them on there and it's a shame I have to cut them off as they look handy.

Second hand bicycle I bought from Ebay has anti theft nuts..

I bought this bike from Ebay last summer, great bike but just went to the bike shop to get it serviced and it has anti-theft nuts all over the place (stem, headset, brakes). I emailed the original owner to see if he has the keys and he no longer does. Can I just take a hack-saw or drill to the nuts ...
