Re: Trailer or Panniers
some interesting opinions on use of trailers;i use a trailer and find it just great, and in retrospect superior in my mind to pannier bags.one glitch is pushing it up hill;not to be enjoyed, and for this operation pannier bags would be far preferable

many sympathies;the fact that they reacted the way they did when the window went, would point to the fact that they were a bunch of physocpaths, and sounds like the police were less than useless;youre better off without either therefore;id revel in my revenge, which u surely had!truely a act of god!

Re: How much weight do you carry?
ive found that using a trailer is preferable to loaded pannier bags;advantages of a trailer is more space;tested i find a trailer easier to push up hills with than loaded panniers;also easier on the back!the long wheel of trailer/bike base may hold the clue.comments welcome.

Re: best tent for uk cycle touring.
id go for a robert saunders spacepacker, mark 1;i had one and found it to be superb;lots of room, plenty of storage space, and under flysheet cooking is easily supported; with both doors open u get a through draught, great in hot weather;i acquate the living space as a large patio!.try ebay for a bargain(in fact for any item)i wont pay inflated prices for my gear.ive a trunkful of (expensive) gear bought for a song,on ebay and other similar sites.

Re: Frozen[sic] shoulder and physiotherapy
i have a ongoing shoulder problem, and due to ignorance on correct procedure to treat, have suiffered for many years;physchotherapy envigorates/strengthens the muscles;ice up to 8 hours a day for 20 mins a day is better than any pain killers;those rubber band exercise thingy was suggested by a medical practioner to keep the muscles active;inactivity on said muscle problem is to be avoided.

Odd size crank arms
due to a lifetime of cycling with a groin injury i have to compensate my pedalling strokes;to explain;my riding position is lopsided,so consequently one side is shorter than the othe as i pedal the stroke.;iam contemplating using different size crank arms to compensate, and hopefully a more perfect balance will be the result;does anyone have similar difficulty resolved by this mechanical method,or not!your ideas or results if u have experienced such a problem, would be appreciated.
