Re: Spa Cycles (Harrogate)
Ordered a silver hub from this this week, was sent a black one. Not the end of the world, great price though

Re: Spa Cycles (Harrogate)
A negative review from me as well. I contacted them about a wheelset build, they quoted a price which I agreed to. They were to email me once they had received the hubs I was to send to them and I'd make payment.
Instead, they received the hubs from me, didn't call me for payment, built the wheelset and then called me to explain they made a mistake and that the price was higher!
Based on this and a previous bad experience I'm going to try to avoid using them again. (Nice wheel build though)

NCN4 Bristol - London. Anyone done this lately?
Hi all, was wondering whether anyone had used the sustrans ncn4 between bristol and london recently? I ask as the posts i can find are a few years old and i'd like to know more on the current state of the surfaces.
From what i can see some is tarmac but some is loose. I'm planning on taking the route soon with a fully loaded tourer so i can't really deal with long sections of pot holes etc
Any info appreciated
Thanks

Re: Mtb for conversion
i too have just found out about the lack of lx hubs. Can't decide what to do! XT or Deore? or are there any other options in the same price range?
edit: found some lx hubs in stock (in germany!)
