Re: Lizard Skin tape 3mm impossible to wrap!

With other sorts of tape I've found that an hour on a radiator or sometimes 40s in a microwave helps with flexibility - might be worth a try.

Re: Dawes MTBs from the 1980s

Didn't realise bikeforums was plagued with adverts - I use adblock plus all the time & it tells me there are 13 ads on that page, but they don't pop up!

Re: Normandy hubs; maillard in many guises....

I bought a second hand set of time trial wheels with Mavic sprint rims & they had the 700 hubs & they were lovely - can't believe I got away with 28 spokes! When Ron Kitching stopped ( not sure why) there was a big sell off at the Harrogate warehouse. I think it must have been advertised in ...

Re: replacement chain-set spares

Spa cycles in Harrogate are pretty good with that sort of thing - may have a TA ring which will be of good quality to replace yours.

Re: Campagnolo Record high flange hub issue, PLEASE HELP!

If you decide to go for new balls I've found this company has a quick turnaround & the quality seems good to me, haven't put enough miles on to compare to anything else : https://simplybearings.co.uk/shop/p37914/7/32-inch-Diameter-Grade-10-Hardened-52100-Chrome-Steel-Ball-Bearings/product_info.h...

Re: SunTour 'New Winner' freewheel; state of the art in 1978

An interesting read - I've got a couple as spares, which is probably a good thing as new examples with a decent range appear to go for up to £100 on Ebay!

7mm is a pretty common size on brake caliper pins - any motor factor or Halfords will have one. Hope it works!

Re: Keeping to the left

I've recently found many pedestrians walking along minor roads are walking with the traffic instead of facing it. Maybe they are new to the walking experience.

Re: removing a regina corsa freewheel

There are plenty of new 14-28 Shimano freewheels on Ebay for a tenner, which would be my choice to resolve the issue.
