What are people supposed to do with the wipes after they've used them?

I was thinking more of the bolted down type found on street corners in Belgium and so French towns, though admit I didn't make myself clear on that point.

Cheltenham has one of these on the pedestrian part of the High Street (near the bike stands).

Re: Campagnolo Ergo lever hoods

I often look at the manufacurer's websites, both Shimano and Campagnolo are fairly easy to navigate and locate the part you need. This is the campagnolo one https://www.campagnolo.com/WW/en/Support/download?td=3 from which I would assume the "ultrashift" hoods are the same for the mechani...

Re: Trek comes out with new helmet material, says old helmets are rubbish

my Lidl helmet prevented a bad knock. As I got off my bike I fell backwards against an edge of a path, not very hard but the helmet showed the indent which would have been my head I assume . Thats the sort of accident I would assume a helmet is useful for ? Pretty sure your head would have hurt fro...

Re: How do you look behind with falling off your bike

I'd also encourage you to practice 'no hands', Not always easy with the geometry of some bikes. Not a good idea for someone lacking confidence and experience on a road bike. When I look over my right shoulder I find it easier if I place my left hand towards the middle of the handlebars. Tha...

Re: Overtaking roadies?

I got passed by a roadie today. I had slowed slightly at a pedestrian island and he came past me at some speed between me and the pedestrian . I thought 'hmm', and gave chase. Made it to the next give way point (about 1.5 miles) rather faster than I would normally do, 22mph rather than about 17mph....

Re: Overtaking roadies?

I feel sorry for the OP and his shallow, pitiful life that makes him want to catergorise and make fun of
other cyclists. He comes across as derisive and scornful and would benefit from analysing his life to
perhaps appreciate others who are not like him.

Re: Overtaking roadies?

True, but there is a certain irony about the situation  Explain please. We're all of different abilities. I'm really unfit at the moment but I went for a 50km ride last week and overtook 'roadie' cyclists and was overtaken by 'roadie' cyclists. I really don't see any point to your post other ...

What's going to happen with the results? If nothing, then it's a waste of time, as it's a case
of preaching to the converted.
