Other week when it was frosty, I parked car and it just slid backwards down hill.
ps I'm in Staffordshire too

pps on Staffs reporting page, you may not need a road name, just type in postcode

Good to see someone else from Staffordshire here :)

Anyway, problem now gone. A bit of water trickles through but it is in a dip. No huge puddles that make my car float

Think I'll go for the pre-cut. Not yet though, going to keep with my bar tape for now. I've just done a terrible job of it

Yes, I mean this :)

And please could you link to one because I can't for the life of me find one on Wiggle, just looking on CRC now.

What grips to use with bar ends?

I have bar ends on my hybrid/tourer and use bar tape. However, I have yet to come across bar grips to use with extenders. Does everyone just use tape with them, do you cut off the ends of standard grips or are you somehow meant to get your extenders over the grips.

Re: Has anybody here personally repair his/her bike?

I'm learning new stuff as I go with the help of this forum. I'd definitely let people touch, at least my LBS and certainly Brucey or Mick. I'd have been stuck 10 times over without some of the members of this forum. I hadn't even re-greased bearings until 2 months ago!

chris_suffolk wrote:I agree that changing to allow searching for 3 letter words is not going to happen, but it does seem a little ironic that 3 chars + a wild card is accepted, and this has to be way more resource hungry. And as for a wild card either side of 3 letters - well......... *the* finds 12146 matches in well under a second on 810 pages !!

How so? I doubt there will be much difference, will still just be two queries

SELECT count(id) FROM post WHERE (search method) //Counts the number of results

SELECT post_title, post_content, ect, ext FROM post LIMIT 0, 15 //Displays the first 15 results

Which will loop through echoing the first 15 to page. It won't hurt performance as the database doesn't have to load the content unless you look at the page (which alters the LIMIT for each query).

It's basically a tubular bandage - so about the bottom 4" of a set of armwarmers - but without the cost ;)

My arms are pointing forwards, not down - so any open cuffs cause my top to inflate :)

Aye, saw the Non-standard part after  To be fair, it usually happens then I'm on bar extenders.
