Mmm...sounds good - coincidentally, I rode the Tarka Trail from a couple of miles before Torrington (from a campsite) to Braunton & back on Friday and then drove through Exford to Porlock, up a monster hill. A nice Exmoor route on Saturday as well to make the most of this Indian summer! Phil, I...

I took up mountain biking about a year ago. Thoroughly exhillerating but very tough!

I was suffering from depression at the time (not too serious, but bad enough) and it was suggested to me by my GP (a keen mountian biker himself).

Boy, did it help to lift the depression. Great stuff.

Like an earlier poster, I just take my bike in with me and explain that there is no safe place to park it. They usually get somewhere for me. I definitely wouldnt leave it outside if there was no permanant place to which I could attach it.
