Does any body know what the best bike insurance is for cycle touring?

What is the best personal cycle touring insurance?

An insurance which will cover the bike and myself?

I am planning on wild camping as much as possible when I am on tour, but I have the problem of having to charge batteries and other electrical devises.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to charge whilst on the road?

I'm off to Iceland on 1st June planing on useing camp sites and wild camping.
Any does and don't about wild camping in Iceland ?

Thinking of getting a tracker so friends and family know where i am on my trips.
Does anyone recommend this?

When I go cycling in the rain I can keep my top half dry and where over boots to keep my feet dry but my legs get wet. If I where waterproof trousers I get to hot and if I don’t only the front of my legs get wet. Is there any waterproofs that just cover the front of your legs ? So keep cool and stay dry?

Similar age, I’m 22 so someone between 19 to 28 ish

If all goes well with my cycle around route 1 of Iceland in June I’m thinking of cycling coast to coast of the USA starting around August time, so I’m just starting to gather information, tips, advice, suggested routes, things to look out for etc etc

Also trying to decide solo or go with someone?

So if anyone is interested, preferably of similar age get in touch. Would want to go on training rides throughout the year to see if would get along on such a trip.

plans are open at the moment so any suggestions would be great

route 1 is just the base of my plan but may detour (most likely) so i will take your tips onboard.

the alternative route to the one tunnel that i'm not aloud to cycle through is it worth doing or should i just go for getting a lift through the tunnel?

I'm planning on biking around route 1 of iceland in june leaveing 1st June coming back 18th June.

if anybody has any tips or places i should visit on route would be greatful

also if there is anyone touring in iceland around them dates i would be happy to meet up along the way.
