Re: Cape wrath to Kingsgate

I did LEJOG 2 year ago. enjoyed thoroughly. Been thinking about going to Cape Wrath. Google Cape Wrath to Dover and you get a lot of results including this route http://www.bikemap.net/en/route/796468-dover-to-cape-wrath-via-arran-and-mull/ plus various CTC links

Re: How to manage bar bag and front light?!

I chose the underneath op...

Re: Route Advice - NW England

Thanks for the feedback and routes, makes me feel more confident. I will probably straighten out some of the convoluted bits, when I plotted this I was keen to get on any road not marked as an A or B road. The zig zag north of Northwich is meet the brother-in -law in Pickmere Matt Fen - you are doin...

Route Advice - NW England

My first LEJOG will start in 10 days. This forum has been great and I've used a lot of advice and routes picked up from other posts. On my trip the one day that concerns me the most is getting through / around the urban areas on NW England. That day I'm starting from Winsford and have accommodation ...

Re: my 1st jogle, if i did it..you can too!

Planning my first lejog for April 2014, accommodation booking was one of my key concerns so thanks for your feedback on that.

Question to you on the CTC YHA route - any busy roads you would recommend to avoid, or was it 'quiet' all the way?
