hI folks
done a few mini ultra light tours over the years with rack and panniers and even a saddle pack, which was really too small TBH. This year I was thinking of renting a carbon bike and using my osprey 20l backpack. I'll be going to Andalucía in July (I know I know) and I always cycle between 7am-2pm. Any advice to wether this is a good idea having a backpack on?

Hi All
has anyone toured about the seville area i.e. Huelva Jaen etc. I'm hoping to go for a week ultra light hiring a road bike and taking a small back pack, so trying to find 'B' roads routes.
cheers

Alhama De Murcia (70km from the airport) is at the foot of the Sierra de Espuna and has some great rides as does the area to the south. There are two hotels in/near town; Los Bartolos and the Mariposa
Also have a look at Owners Direct as they often have cheap holiday rentals

Stayed in the Los Bartolos last year.....considering it again, nice wee town with good access to the hills. just thought there might be others, cheers.

this summer instead of touring i think i'll do long day trips from a base............anyone know of a inexpensive hotel in a small town (murcia region) where i could base myself for a week.
i've tried the usual search but end up getting condos near the brit pack golf courses. i'll be arriving in san javier.
cheers
