Re: Membership by phone

Sounds like its an outsourced service with a provider who most likely shares inbound calls with many other clients it services and/or insufficient agents manning the calls. General trend is towards 'self service' via internet making it cheaper to run and usually 'customer service' is the item sacrif...

Re: coffee machines and grinding coffee beans

Mercalia, as a Londoner, Drury Tea & Coffee (in Drury Lane) are an excellent source. They roast their own beans and will also grind them for you for your type of coffee maker (avoiding the need for an expensive burr grinder). There's also Monmouth coffee in Borough Market along with other specia...

Got a standard Omron unit a week ago (especially as Boots were having an offer on them at moment). Very pleased with it, easy to use.
Thanks for all the advise & suggestions.

Re: Blood Pressure Monitors

Thanks all. Very useful. I see that upper arm cuff ones are most popular & recommended.
There's a Lloyds & Boots nearby so that'll be my first place of call.

Blood Pressure Monitors

I am thinking of getting one, having been told by my cardiologist to keep a regular check on the old BP. There's a variety of ones for home use and I understand some are not very accurate.
