Re: Sigma Computers POSTAGE ONLY

Hi Robert17,
Will take these if still available.
Will put them on grandkids' bikes. Not essential but will get used.
Regards
Kai

I’ve also stopped growing courgettes even the village got sick of them when I left them out front.
Depends which variety you grow! Romanesco courgette are a favourite round here.
Thanks I’d not seen that one. Looking in my seed catalogue, DT Brown don’t sell it so that explains it.
Got it from King's seed catalogue and grown it first time this year. Would definitely recommend it over other versions.

Stuffed marrow followed by blackberry fool. All veg & fruit for it home grown/foraged bar the mince in the stuffing.

I said that here a year ago and people questioned it.

As true today as it was then.
And the corollary to Moore's Law i.e. "Every time the power of the chip doubles, human intelligence halves."

Re: Favourite saying, or quote.

Couple of my other oft used ones:

"Experience is a dear teacher, but fools will learn by no other".

and

"If you want it cooked, you'll have to wait" - as per notice in restaurant l'Antoine (New Orleans).

Re: Favourite saying, or quote.

A close friend always used to say " Cheap is Dear". He was an accountant but the saying holds well for most things.

Another one "Why get a dog and bark yourself" especially for those unable to delegate.

My award goes to the Busch & Muller bar-end Star Mirror 901/2 :D

Purchased two for both my bikes, the best mirror i've had by far, and i've had quite a few (that are no where near as good)

Can be purchased from Cycle Sense for £15 each + £1.50 postage.

<<>>

Which best 2021 cycle product purchase do you nominate?
+1 for the B+M Star bar-end mirror. From Cyclesense too.
Got one on both bikes after Mick F's recommendation in another post.
