Dunno, but you could always try asking WSCC on the link here (scroll down to Route Closures)?

Many thanks, I'll give that a try.

Re: Cross bar water bottle carrier.

The real question is Why? seems an odd thing to want to do, especially with the potential bang knees or other parts on it Rob Basically my MTB is quite old and has only one mounting point for a bottle. I also suffer with neck and shoulder problems. Riding with a backpack is out of the question at t...

Cross bar water bottle carrier.

Looking for a carrier that I can suspend below a crossbar. Obviously there isn't any mounting points, and also whether a standard carrier would be strong enough. I"be seen types that can carry a wine bottle, but don't want that type. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Silver soldering

tatanab wrote:For soldering what materials?

It's an airflow slide on a bbg. It consists of a very thin steel disc and a steel rod (approx 1/8 in dia) which detached itself from the disc. Originally the rod appears to have been spot welded to the disc (very tiny spot welds).

Not a lot. Looks a fairly unpleasant area.

Mike Carter has written a book One Man and His Bike about his ride around the coast. No idea if he was the first or thousand and first but it's a good read.

Many thanks. I will try and hunt that book down.

Bethnal Green and around Britain.

Does anybody on this forum live in Bethnal Green, if so, can they tell me if Columbia Square is still there, or has it been redeveloped.
Secondly. Who was the first person to cycle around the coastline of Britain, and was there a book written about it ?
Many thanks if anyone can help.
