You can ride along the river on the Surrey side from Richmond to Kingston, then cross over at Kingston Bridge and ride along the Middlesex bank up to Hampton Court. Then back to the Surrey side for the section along to Weybridge. Cycling is permitted over that whole stretch. There are some rough/muddy bits between Richmond and Teddington Lock, but the rest is pretty good.
Upstream from Weybridge (where you need to cross back to the Middlesex bank on the ferry) the route diverges from the riverbank for a mile or so until you can rejoin the river at Chertsey Bridge. From there you follow a minor road and then towpath again up to Staines.

Re: Cycling In Greece
We did a "round the Pelopponese" tour many years back. Flew to Athens, then train round to Pirgos. Then pretty much round the coast all the way back up to Corinth and back to Athens. Took about a fortnight over that - with a few more days you could cut the train trip out. This was essentially following the route described in http://www.amazon.com/Europe-Bike-Tours ... 0898863171.
We did it in September - it was still very hot (30+ every day). Campsites and tourist sites were fairly quiet, and scenery lovely. The Mani Peninsular in particular was fantastic.

Re: Anyone in South East got a Cougar Chariot?
Hi Clanton,
We have a Cougar Chariot 2 which we are about to try and sell - in fact my wife has been nagging me to advertise it here for some weeks. And we are very close to you, in Hampton! So PM me if you are interested.
