Re: Bike in a shed

Hello Mick,

Could you estimate a frame size? the headtube looks like a medium-ish size frame - any ideas?

I'm about 3 miles from Wirksworth.

Thanks, Andy

Compatibility

Hello all,

Is a 10 speed Shimano SLX cassette compatible with a Shimano 10 speed road (105) set up?

Would it count...

...if I did LEJOG in two sections over two years? I'm having difficulty obtaining sufficient time off work to do LEJOG in one lump - so, I'm thinking that I could do half this year, and half next. Could I claim to have completed it if I did this?

Re: Any advice on cycle storage?

Hi NS,

try googling 'bike floor stands', plenty of answers........

If you buy the Mottez (Halfords) stand, and the gap between the uprights is too large for road tyres, you could alwayd tie wrap a section of old inner tube or tyre to narrow it. Not by any means ideal, but it may do the job.

Hi Dave,

this may not give you all or any answers, but it's still quite interesting:

Re: Instruction Manual for Claud Butler 7002 MB

Ken,

most instruction manuals for bikes are very generic. Have a look at this one and see if it answers your questions:

if not, post your questions here.

Bill, you may also want to consider Rudy Project who can provide clip in RX frames for some of their 'glasses - take the RX frame to your local optician an they can fit the lenses. There are advantages to these if your prescription is still changing. I bought some 'glasses in the January sales a few...

Not sure what type of bike you're on, or how long you will have but the NCN route 67 runs from the middle of Sheffield to Chessy - about half of the distance is on the Trans Pennie Trail and old canal, very nice too.

I changed my Mirage to a 50/34 compact with no problems - as hamster said, just drop the front mech.
