Re: Voodoo Bizango

Hello, I do have a bizango and it is a very sorted package and I like mine a lot. Over above the components its best features are the nimble geometry and the single-speedable rear dropouts, so it is versatile. if you are not concerned with riding hard, going single speed or challenging trails then i...

Re: Long, easy to follow routes

This is very helpful, many thanks for this. I am really after that continental experience of endless-seeming roads but in this country. I want to get fit again and spend the maximum time pedaling and not using my brain. I find touring in england quite 'bitty', and you tend to need to keep your wits ...

Long, easy to follow routes

Hello, I am considering taking myself off to Ireland to do the coastal road, which i hear is stunningly beautiful. it is also one long easy to follow route/road. This appeals because I just want to ride, no faffing and don't feel like navigating. How is the coastal road and are there any routes like...

Re: Plans for a summer tour

I recently did Andover-Winchester-Salisbury-Warminster-Malmsbury-Marlborourgh. I used the NCN routes almost exclusively apart from the end when I ran out of time and had to take an A road home to Andover. The 24 and 254 routes I can especially recommend though the 254 caused some grief because there...

Yes please, and thanks for the advice. But also which maps do you think I should buy? Do you have any suggestions?

Re: First post! August tour: Asturias - Segovia

Wow, that sounds amazing, thank you for your reply. I would love it if you sent me a route, and anymore information via PM. I have just put 'asturias airport' to 'valleruela de pedraza' into google maps directions and hit 'walking' and got what seemed like an excellent route which I was very surpris...

First post! August tour: Asturias - Segovia

Hello everyone, I was considering riding from asturias to leon then to valleruella de pedraza, near segovia approx 100km north of madrid where I have a stay planned with a friend. I thought I would get the train to Madrid for the last few days of my stay to see it because I have not been and I have ...
