I was replacing my stem and when i was putting the cap screw in it had nothing to grip onto,when i looked down the fork the other part had dropped down and i can't get it .Could someone tell me how to retrieve it please.

At the moment i have Ultegra Compact 12x27 cassette 50x34 chainring is it possible to get lower gearing other than a 28t
