Re: Can you cycle well with a paunch?
This is depends on how your body stores fat.
There are two types FOTI Fat Outside Thin Inside, TOFI Thin Outside Fat Inside.
FOTI's tend to be classed as fit fat and TOFI's tend to get a bit puffed out due to fat around the organs restricting the amount of air you can breath due to full chest cavity.
I think there is a nice short article on it in wikipedia.
Hope it helps.

Re: Shipping a recumbent
When I bought my trike second hand, I arranged for paisley freight to ship it. All it needed was boxing by the seller and labeling
Paisley freight organised the couriers to ship it from seller to me.

found that site when i was looking to send my trike to Aus

Re: liver problems
There is a form of corn syrup that goes straight to the liver in the form of fat and the liver can't cope with it.
I think its called HFCS
High Fructose Corn Syrup but it has other names its leading to most Americans having Fatty Livers and also one of their biggest killers

Re: Bottle dynamo placement. Am I mad?
I Found a photo in the Icletta catalogue which shows a B+M dynamo on the rear wheel of an ice trike mounted just above the inspired cycle engineering label in a slotted hole. just checked my own ICE Sprint and its where it says Compact Flat Twist CFT.
As your experimenting not sure if you've already tried it

Re: Bottle dynamo placement. Am I mad?
If you are traveling at 30 mph on a 20 inch wheel and on a 28 inch wheel the circumference of either wheel travels 30 miles in an hour.
So the little wheel on the dynamo turns exactly the same amount even though the 20 inch wheel is rotating faster
a rough ratio from just guestimating dynamo drive wheel size it a 21 to 1 ratio on 20 inch wheel and a 29 to 1 ratio on the 28 inch wheel
