Re: Dangerous front lights
If they had just one light, would it not have appeared like a motor bike some distance away.

Just read this thread, as I am considering buying a Cannondale with BB30 bottom bracket. Thank you to Brucey for his comment on chain rings, fantastic advice.

Re: High Performance Cars
The technology is available to fit speed limiters which would stop a vehicle exceeding the speed limit. The government could introduce legislation to enforce this.

Swap btwin brakes for Ultegra 6600
I have a BTwin Triban 540, which is all 105 except for the brakes. They are marked Btwin, I think they are actually made by FSA. They work well and I don’t have an issue with them. Re: Price of Chains

Re: Cyclist sues after falling off bike due to dog
I have zero sympathy for the cyclist concerned and some for the dog owner. As a cyclist it is my responsibility to be aware of pedestrians and dogs in parkland and to be aware that dogs do do random things at times. If he was only doing 5mph then the accident would have been trivial, my best guess ...

Mick, you live in Cornwall, you get a fair bit of rain but frost, sleet and snow must be quite rare.
