Re: New Mechanical Discs Out Yet?

Also interested in these new TRP offerings. May just have to get a set to replace one set of bb7's and see how they are.

Could lead to a slippery slope... both my bikes have bb7s!

Re: 26" slicks

Would recommend the Schwalbe Kojak, been using the 700c version and been great so far. I live on a farm so it has to go up and down a rough farm track every time I go out.

Re: Any runners out there?

Thanks for the advice comments. Went out for my very first run this morning, walked quickly to warm up then ran for as long as I could and continued walking in between running.

Overall it was not as bad as I was expecting. Will try again tomorrow morning.

Re: Any runners out there?

Hi everyone, Going to start running. I cycle a lot but have never ran before in my life. Any tips/suggestions for a complete novice? Will be mainly running off road as I live on a farm. The eventual aim, if I can even run, is to be able to do 2.4km in under 11 minutes as that is part of the physical...

Re: Leather mudflaps on mudguards....

The plastic ones will rust if you drill them to bolt them to the mudguard, there is a strip of metal in the rubber 'arms'. Its what I have done to mine and it has just corroded. Will being changing my mudguards soon and when I do I will be getting a leather flap. The picture attached shows the spray...

Re: derailer not moving enough

and that is exactly the way i adjust the derailer i pull it out by hand to a good position and then nip the cable in the pinch bolt Cheers Ed I'm unsure what you mean here? When setting up the front derailleur, put the shifter so that it is in the lowest ring at the front (the smallest.) Then clamp...

there is also Atomic 22, expensive but apparently safer than pitlock. I'm looking at saving up for a set if I move back to a city.

Installed one for a friend, went in no problem with a pin spanner, he's had no problems since it was installed.
