In case anyone is interested, the bag from Planet X (previous post) is holding up well during my tour through Holland and Germany. The bracket is solid and the map case does a good job of holding my phone in a landscape orientation for navigation. The bag isn't waterproof though so dry bags required...

It seems to be the same as http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B005D4CF6K which gets good reviews. I doubt it's very waterpro...

I bought one of the Clarks anti rust chains from Halfords last winter and it was probably the worst chain I've ever used. I'm not exactly kind to chains, but this one only lasted less than a month of winter commutes (20 miles a day, 5 days a week) whereas the SRAM and KMC chains I normally use easil...

Has been used all week on my commute and all seems good so far. Not sure it's perfectly true, but nothing major. Will update once it's seen some bad weather :)
