Listed ICE QNT in for sale section

Just listed my QNT in the for sale section. Finding its sitting unused as I just take the 2 wheeled recumbent out instead.

If anyone is interested you can view here: http://forum.cyclinguk.org/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=109344

ICE mesh seat free to good home

Not sure if I should put this here or in one of the other areas.

I've got a ICE mesh seat (from a QNT) that I don't need or want so before I try contacting Kevin or bin it would anyone like it?

There's a pic of me riding it here http://forum.ctc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=15204&start=292 although I'm not sure if [XAP]Bob was saying the image was not displaying.

Cambridge 100

So after much practicing I succeed in my goal! I completed the Cambridge 100 on the Tision, admittedly I did get off and walk over a couple of busy roundabouts and a junction with non working lights. I'm really loving the handling of the two wheeled recumbents they do roll around corners wonderfully...

Re: Steering when starting

I'm slowly getting better, I'm trying to do a bit of practice each evening after work using the Cambridge science park to practice stopping and starting at junctions and roundabouts. I've also come to the decision that SPD is probably better than SPD-SL when it comes to stopping after having the cle...

Re: Steering when starting

Yep, that one.

Are you finding that you do that on the raptobike or others too? Looking at it I would expect the rapto to always pull a bit to the left on starting due to a slight steering input from the chain.

Steering when starting

I'm finding that when I start off I steer away from whichever foot is on the pedal, do any of you find this too? Any tips for trying to minimise this?

Re: Sharing my excitement!

I can ride it! Just uploading a vid to youtube, but all it took was picking a lower gear and getting my second foot up. I can't turn very well or hold a straight line, but at least I'm now confident I can stop and start. I also found filling two banana bags with all the bubble wrap it came in helps,...

Arrived! :D Only managed 30cm on it with one foot on the pedals before promptly falling over onto that side.
