Re: Garmin battery life extension

Get a small power bank.
I used one for a Lake District 200km Audax with an 800.
Get a small top tube bag and run it direct from the power bank
or just top it up when you stop for tea and cakes.

Re: TA Carmina Triple

Thanks for your replies guys. I would probably keep the triple but the ergo levers don't allow. I will be running a 13-29 10 speed rear. 46-36 front gives me a sufficient range. I don't cross chain but do occasionally end up double shifting. Looks like I will give it a whirl and see how we go. Thank...

TA Carmina Triple

I have one of the above which is a triple. A lovely condition Campag 10 speed groupset (double) has come into my possession and I would like to fit. I can easily take off the inner climbing ring that I don’t really need and convert to double. Question is then do I need a new bottom bracket to bring ...

Re: Condor Bottom Bracket

£1 is nice and cheap but this is part of a collection of bike stuff I have been selling for charity.
The frame was finished by Bob Jackson's and is beautiful except the BB is knackered.
I guess I could sell it if the buyer is aware of the fault.
The frame is just too big for me.....

Re: Condor Bottom Bracket

Guys,
Thanks for all the replies.
Looks like it will be put to the back of the shed for a while and then
deposited at the local recycling centre.
Sad but there we are....

Condor Bottom Bracket

I have in my possession a lovely Condor touring frame.
The problem is that someone, certainly not me, has stripped the threads on the drive side.
I have tried many types square taper, Octalink, HT2 all the same.
Is this a write off?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Kerry.
