there are really only 2 types of bike: arse-in-the-air bikes and those not? The first type is for those people who eat a lot of beans and suffer flatulence & want to get an extra push from the gases emitted.

some time ago one of the cycling mags did a comparison of skinnies v fatties ( not knobblies ) and found that fatties rolled marginally better than skinnes at their relevent pressures. The explantion thy came to was that fatties tended to deform at right angles to the motion ie across the tyre width...

strange none of my wheels suffer from spooks unwinding. what causes it in the first place? The ones I build dont have super high tensions on the spooks some where between the original and the SPA one I have. Even the original wheel spokes didnt unwind

I have tried pulling the cable from the mech side as tight as I can, twisted the barrel adjuster as far as it will go, at what setting? should work if the control lever is in the small ring setting. so there is a new poll that says the remain vote in a new referendum would be 58% against 42% for leave. How can leave politicians keep on repeating their mantra of the will of the people is leave ? At least it is uncertain what it is any more?
